With the offense continuing to struggle, the Minnesota Vikings are making a quarterback change. At least in the short term. Kyler Murray has been diagnosed with a hamstring strain, and while injured reserve isn t being considered as an option, Carson Wentz will start for the Vikings against the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football. It will be interesting to see if Wentz can ignite what s been a feeble passing attack that is currently averaging 165.6 yards per game. Only the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (131.4) have a worse average than the Vikings. The injury to Murray apparently occurred when he pulled the ball on a read option early in the fourth quarter with the Vikings trailing the Detroit Lions. Though he was able to finish the game without any issue, head coach Kevin O Connell noted that Murray would have imaging done. As of right now, Murray is considered week-to-week, which means it s unclear when he will be available for the Vikings. ]]>
